Heheh, well don't mistake periods of inactivity for lost interest.  I'm 
still interested, and now that the semester is boiling down and I come 
up for air and play with things like this again.  I'll probably post 
some more concrete questions at some point but right now I'm just poking 
around with it while I'm procrastinating on my homework... ;-)

Sure thing.

By the way, git really makes this handy... I can update the svn tree and 
cherry-pick one or two commits from a staging and then automatically 
rebase my dev branch off the new state.  I recommend checking it out if 
you haven't already!
